Senior System Engineer - Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD)
The Position:
We are seeking a highly experienced specialist to support a Federal program providing governmentwide workforce development and training. This role centers on providing advanced support for the Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) platform, driving system improvements, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices and federal security standards. Key responsibilities include:- Deliver responsive and knowledgeable Tier 2 help desk support for CSOD users, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Evaluate and analyze current systems, recommend data integration improvements and facilitate project enhancements and system security.
- Support implementing industry best practices and security.
- Analyze system performance metrics and identify potential areas for improvement, including hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Assess current system infrastructure for deficiencies and recommend enhancements to optimize functionality.
- Develop and propose technical solutions for system enhancements, including hardware upgrades, software patches, and security improvements.
- Oversee the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and configurations to enhance overall performance.
- Conduct regular assessments of system security, recommending and implementing solutions to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise-level software systems, preferably in a federal or government environment.
- Proven experience with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong understanding of system integration, data management, and IT security best practices.
- Experience providing Tier 2 or higher technical support.
- Experience working with federal training programs.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

The Location:
Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks away from the White House. And with many of our clients also based in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and game nights.
The Fine Print:
- The salary range for this role is $70,000-$130,000 depending on experience
- Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
- This role is subject to a hybrid work schedule in the Washington D.C.
- Essential Physical Functions
- Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time
- Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
