The Position:

We are looking for passionate, driven candidates to help solve our client’s complex problems and guide them towards operational success. As a Contract Management Specialist, you will work closely with our federal clients to monitor and manage the performance of vendors on a series of recently awarded, high-profile contracts. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Monitor and track vendor timelines and milestones against performance work statement (PWS)
Review vendor deliverables for compliance
Analyze performance metrics and identify key insights/trends
Analyze timesheets/invoices for compliance, and other insights
Coordinate issue identification/escalation and remediation/resolution
Help draft slide decks for leadership status updates, among other presentations
Capture notes and action items for meetings
Coordinate ad hoc and recurring meeting schedules
Review vendor resumes for compliance

We believe a successful Contract Management Specialist will have:

Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of relevant experience in overseeing/monitoring performance of government contracts
Background as a COR and/or Contract Specialist is a plus
Professional certification preferred (CPCM, CFCM, and/or DAWIA/FAC-C III)
Possess knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Strong understanding of various acquisition approaches and ability to formulate analyses and create comprehensive documentation
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Ability to add value in semi-unstructured roles, working with diverse groups of stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint

The Location:

Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a fantastic city for working professionals. For now, we’re all working from home. But normally, we work at an office conveniently located in the heart of downtown D.C., just a few blocks away from the White House. And with many of our clients also based in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and game nights.
