Marketing Coordinator

Position Description:

Marketing Strategy Support & Campaign Management

  • Help shape marketing strategy, working with Censeo leadership to determine priorities, targets, and timelines across service offerings
  • Execute marketing campaigns, working with Censeo leadership and marketing agency to determine campaign topics, and develop and share content
  • Refine and track marketing performance metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns and overall marketing efforts

Online Content Management

  • Update Censeo’s website and social media pages on an ongoing basis so that our followers can access our latest content
  • Work with Censeo leadership and marketing agency to develop online content that will resonate with our readers
  • Identify opportunities for firm recognition (e.g., awards, speaking engagements)
  • Integrate best practices in website content management in community content strategy and management
  • Engage with followers to cultivate a community of practice

Intellectual Capital (IC) Management

  • Curate Censeo IC (e.g., project deliverables, tools, white papers), including collecting and organizing IC to ensure accessibility
  • Support Censeo business capture efforts through drafting and coordinating content and business proposals

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants should be collaborative, detail- and deadline-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a small, high performing team.

Ideal applicants would have:

  • BA/BS in marketing or related subject
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing and/or online content management
  • Experience collaborating with team members to develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Experience collaborating with team members to develop and execute content management strategies
  • Strong written communications skills; ability to develop succinct and impactful content
  • Experience using social media to build readership and/or brand awareness
  • Ability to quickly and effectively learn new technology tools and platforms
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with the following a plus:
    • HTML; CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
    • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
    • Familiarity with Mailchimp and / or other mass email delivery platforms
  • Passion for making government and nonprofits operate more effectively in solving the world’s problems

Essential Physical Functions

Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time
Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
