Position Overview
Project Manager - Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
The Position:
We are looking for eager, driven candidates to help solve our client’s complex problems and guide them towards operational success. As a Project Manager with Censeo, you will support the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) with project management planning & implementation and process improvement services to support consumer-facing Ask CFPB content on consumerfinance.gov.
- Supporting all aspects of client engagements from defining the strategy of a project to preparing final deliverables
- Developing in-depth knowledge of client issues, needs, and contexts
- Sharing insights, results, and recommendations in a comprehensible manner through both written presentations/reports and interactions with teams/clients
- Supporting development of a comprehensive strategy from ideation to implementation
- Working with client stakeholders to develop process maps and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvement
- Managing content review standard processes for the content review lifecycle.
- Reviewing, analyzing and making recommendations for the update of existing Ask CFPB consumer-facing content to ensure consistency (addressing redundant, outdated, trivial content)
- Coordinating the edits necessary for the review and analysis conducted during 3.B with CE’s writing and editorial team
- Coordinating clearance through CFPB’s defined process
- Coordinating with Design & Development staff for publication on consumerfinance.gov

- BA/BS in Management or a similar discipline from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of project management experience
- 1+ year of experience working in content development and management, and project planning and implementation.
- Experience working with Federal Government or Private Sector question and answer websites (Preferred)
- Experience with multi-language content platforms (Preferred)
- Experience with financial education for customers (Preferred)
- Superior creative problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Strong understanding of spreadsheet and presentation software
- Effective communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge

Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks away from the White House. And with many of our clients also based in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and game nights.
The Fine Print:
- Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs
- This is an exempt, full-time position
- Essential Physical Functions
- Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time
- Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
